Or, Skunk Water, is a smell created by the Israeli government to maintain control over Palestinians. Marketed as we can expect of white supremacy, it hides behind liberal language and is presented as an effective and alternative “non-lethal riot dispersal”. Though the smell itself is a mixture of water, yeast, and baking powder, once fermented it smells similarly to feces. Even after the wreck, the smell lingers and Palestinians talk about how difficult it is to rid themselves of it, clothes are impossible to clean and have to be thrown away. White supremacy stains and its stagnation sticks to your skin. Even if you hide - white supremacy has infected the air you breathe.
